During the Second World War, the 3-ton Bedford QL was one of the most recognizable British trucks around. Early prototypes began their initial testing in 1940 and eventually were produced as a light transport. The Bedford QL was also used to tow anti-aircraft cannons as well as transports for infantrymen, semitrailer tractors, and more. Between 1941 and 1945, 52,145 trucks were manufactured.
