The 7.5cm Pak40 was the most widely used German anti-tank gun of the war being encountered on all fronts from late 1941 onward as well as being mounted on a variety of vehicles.
The kit represents an early model gun as evidenced by the initial style muzzle brake and also features steel spoke wheels instead of the earlier pressed steel wheels.
